Summary

Synthesis and physico-chemical properties of two 3-substituted phenacyl-thiazolidine-2,4-di-ones (2c-d) and four 3-substituted phenacyl-5-[2-phenyl-4H-4-oxo-1-benzopyran-6-yl)methyl-enyl]-thiazolidine-2,4-diones (4a-d) are described. These products were synthesized by Knoe-venagel reaction from flavone-6-carboxaldehyde (3) and 3-(substituted phenacyl)-thiazolidine-2,4-diones (2a-d). Antibacterial and antifungal activities were investigated for these compounds.

Zusammenfassung

Synthese von 3-substituierten Phenacyl-5-[2-phenyl-4H-4-oxo-1-benzopyran-6-yl)methyl-enyl] -thiazolidin-2,4-dionen und Bewertung ihrer antimikrobiellen Aktivität

Es werden die Synthese und physikochemischen Eigenschaften von zwei 3-substituierten Phen-acyl-thiazolidin-2,4-dionen (2c-d) und von vier 3-substituierten Phenacyl-5-[2-phenyl-4H-4-oxo-1-benzopyran-6-yl)methylenyl]-thiazolidin-2,4-dionen (4a-d) beschrieben. Die Verbindungen wurden durch Knoevenagel-Reaktion aus Flavon-6-carboxaldehyden (3) und in 3-Stellung substituerten Thiazolidin-2,4-dionen (2a-d) hergestellt. Sie wurden auf antibakterielle und antimykotische Wirkungen geprüft.
