Das kommerzielle Angebot an Wundabdeckungen in der Pferdepraxis ist umfangreich und für jede Phase der Wundheilung gibt es spezielle Wundauflagen, die die Heilung optimal fördern. Allerdings gibt keine Wundauflage alleine eine Garantie für den Behandlungserfolg und es existiert kein „Patentrezept“ für die Wahl der Auflage – diese muss vom behandelnden Tierarzt anhand der aktuellen Situation passend ausgewählt werden.
