Nachdem mehrere Ärzte, die Kinder mit ADHS behandelten, einen Zusammenhang zwischen der Oxytocingabe vor der Geburt und dem Auftreten von ADHS in der späteren Kindheit vermuteten, haben Kurth und Haussmann 2011 [6] eine Pilotstudie zu diesem Thema verfasst, um einen möglichen Zusammenhang nachzuweisen.
