This in vitro-study investigates the bond strength between composite and zirconia with different means of ceramic conditioning with zirconia-primer or silane, alone or in combination with mechanical surface pre-treatment. It could be shown that the bond-strength strongly depends on surface conditioning. The use of zirconia-primer resulted in the highest stability of the bond.
