Zusammenfassung
Der überwiegende Anteil von Atemwegsinfekten in der Praxis ist viraler Natur. Eine
antibiotische Behandlung ist dennoch manchmal erforderlich. Die Entscheidung einer
symptomatischen versus antibiotischen Therapie ist im Praxisalltag im Einzelfall auch
bei längerer Krankheitsdauer schwierig. Die Blutbilduntersuchung mittels Differenzialblutbild
kann eine schnelle Hilfe sein, die Zahl der Antibiotikaverordnungen zu reduzieren.
Abstract
The major part of infects of respiratory tract in the family medicine is of viral
nature. Antibiotical treatment is still necessary but a differential diagnosis is
not easy to analyse. The decision of a symptomatic versus an antibiotical therapy
of infections of the respiratory tract in family medicine is difficult. Examinations
by differential blood count can be a help to reduce the number of antibiotical receipts.
