Abstract
Broken catheter fragments in a coronary artery during percutaneous coronary interventions
although uncommon can potentially result in life-threatening consequences from the
attended embolization, thrombus formation, and perforation. We report an unusual complication
of a broken export catheter during primary angioplasty, which was successfully managed
by inflated balloon-mediated retrieval technique.
