Zusammenfassung

Effekte der Kryotherapie Phil Glasgow kennt sich aus mit Eisanwendungen bei Sportlern. Ob Kühlmanschette, Eisspray oder -tauchbad, er weiß, was wirkt. Um bei tiefen intramuskulären Verletzungen effektiv zu kühlen, müssen 5 bis 15 Grad Celsius im Muskel erreicht werden. Kühlung findet aber auf der Haut statt. Was kann die „Allzweckwaffe“ Eis wirklich leisten und was nicht?
