Zusammenfassung

Niels Stensen beschrieb nicht nur den Ductus paroticus, er war auch Paläontologe und Kristallforscher. Zum Katholizismus konvertiert, verwandte er seine ganze Schaffenskraft, die katholische Kirche zu stärken, vorgelebt in franziskanischer Bescheidenheit.

Abstract

Niels Stensen born 1638 not only characterized the ductus paroticus he also made fundamental discoveries in paleontology and crystallography. After converting to catholicism he spend all his creativeness to strengthen the catholic church living in Franciscan humility.
