Therapie der Essstörung durch Emotionsregulation

  • Emotionsregulation bezeichnet alle Fertigkeiten und Strategien, die dazu eingesetzt werden, Emotionen gezielt zu beeinflussen oder den Einfluss von Emotionen auf Verhalten zu modifizieren.

  • Die Therapie der Essstörung durch Emotionsregulation geht davon aus, dass fehlende Fertigkeiten in der Emotionsregulation ein wesentlicher aufrechterhaltender Mechanismus der Essstörung ist.

  • Im Mittelpunkt der Therapie stehen die Vermittlung und das Einüben von Selbstmanagement-Tools, Aufbau eines angemessenen Essverhaltens, Emotionsmanagement, Training interpersoneller Fertigkeiten, Achtsamkeit und Akzeptanz sowie Stresstoleranz.
