Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die indirekte Intervention mit ihren Zielen und Methoden bei Aphasie und stellt sie in einem Schema der direkten Aphasietherapie gegenüber. Dabei werden auch neuere Entwicklungen, die den Einsatz von Laien in der Aphasietherapie vorschlagen, eingeordnet und bewertet. Die Zusammenfassung dreier Reviews zum Partner-Kommunikationstraining sowie die exemplarische Analyse einer Studie zur sozialen Stimulation verdeutlichen die besonderen methodischen Erfordernisse der kommunikationsbezogenen Sprachtherapieforschung. Sie zeigen aber auch, dass die angehörigenzentrierte Intervention sprachtherapeutisches Handeln im engeren Sinn bedeutet, für das evidenzbasierte Empfehlungen und spezifische Methoden zur Verfügung stehen und das von der unspezifischen sozialen Stimulation abzugrenzen ist.

Abstract

This article will give an overview on the methods and goals of indirect intervention in aphasia, contrasting it with direct therapy. Intervention methods that use laypersons in speech and language therapy will be assessed. 3 reviews about conversation-partner training as well as an analysis of a study on social support in aphasia reveal critical aspects and the specific requirements of research, in particular, when communicative success is addressed in speech and language therapy. It will also be explained why social approaches to aphasia therapy can be subsumed under specific evidence-based methods and classified as formal therapy in contrast to unspecific attention control.
