“Copy, but copy exactly”, so Hahnemann's demand upon us. This signifies for us the fundamental invitation to practice homeopathy. Yet, medicine has meanwhile drastically developed away from medical routine and reality of Hahnemann's times.

With the birth of clinical medicine at the end of the 19th century, the healing art of experience of single practitioners was superceded. Thus, nowadays more than ⅔ of all German practicing physicians are working in hospitals. In the 21st century, “eclectic medicine” abandons more and more the narrow corset of pure “hospital medicine”. The building of supporting care structures beyond the sectoring borders of single physicians and clinics, is now order of the day. The modern paradigm is now called: Networking in medical care.

Yet how do we position our method within an interdisciplinary team of specialized medical colleagues and members of other health care professions?

To this aim, we present approaches and paradigms for an intentionally designed homeopathic medicine-network.

Starting with the example of Hahnemann's dealing for cholera, we discuss problems and fundamental questions regarding an interdisciplinary medicine. This not only leads us into the area of conflict between homeopathy and orthodox medicine. It also bears repercussions to our understanding of established remedy images: to be demonstrated with the aid of Hahnemann's remedy camphora.
