Xerostomia or feeling of dry mouth can be an origin of certain diseases or can be an effect of some medications. It is characterized by a clinical manifestation related to decrease in salivation, often associated with dysfunction of the salivary glands, however, the subjective xerostomia is identified as a disorder associated with psychological symptoms without clinical evidence. The treatment for most cases is based on the symptomatic relief, but the association of homeopathic therapy with conventional procedures enables effectively a treatment for this condition. This paper deals with an investigation established on the basis of the patient's symptom totality with the characteristics of a homeopathic approach to history, with subjective, obvious signs and symptoms of xerostomia. The homeopathic remedy choretum sodicum was prescribed together with complementary treatments associated with oral and topical tissue hydration system. Psychotherapy further was also indicated for routing, during the homeopathic treatment.
