Aims:

This presentation examines how the myofascial system connects to the miasms using the example of chronic myofascial pain – primarily backache. It is about detecting miasms using a special myofascial test.

Methods:

A stretch-test is applied to those myofascial chains which correspond to the main channels of Chinese acupuncture. First the subject is tested without contact to the miasmatic nosodes. Secondly the subject is tested with contact. The myofascial answer is recorded by manual contact with the reaction to psorinum, medorrhinum, tuberculinum, syphilinum and carcinosinum.

Results:

This report includes 100 patients with myofascial pain analyzed by this method.

  • There is a regular relationship between the miasmatic load and the myofascial findings caused by the respective nosode: Each nosode affects certain myofascial chain and certain channels of acupuncture.

  • The contact to a powerful remedy let the myofascial miasmatic signs immediately disappear.

  • Sometimes after one course of such a treatment, sometimes after several courses, pain intensity and comorbidities improve according to the Hering's rule: from inside outwards.

Conclusions:

  • The miasms and the disturbances of the myofascial system show a regular relationship.

  • The mentioned myofascial stretch-test provides immediate information whether a remedy could be effective. It makes an antimiasmatic prescription of homeopathic remedies more secure and efficient.
