Summary

Headache and stroke are common phenomenon. Nevertheless, other symptoms of stroke are dominating clinical assessments. However, headache can be an essential part of the clinical picture e.g. in subarachnoid haemorrhage. Below we show an overview about the field of headache and stroke. We present data from a recent DMKG-study and other diseases with different aetiologies they can occur with stroke and headache. Finally, we discuss data about Migraine and the risk of stroke.
