The beginning of the curve reflects clot formation dynamics, while the tail reflects the fibrinolytic activity. The self-coagulogram helps the detection of hemorrhagic syndromes, the evaluation of anticoagulant therapy and fibrinolytic activity, natural or induced. It is a very simple and practical method.
