Zusammenfassung
Beim Madelung-Syndrom handelt es sich um eine symmetrische, schmerzlose Fettgewebsvermehrung
im Oberkörperbereich, der häufig eine toxische Leberschädigung zugrunde liegt. Die
komplexe Therapie muss sowohl die Leberschädigung als auch die Schwellungen, die durch
Fettgewebsvermehrung bedingt sind, berücksichtigen. Im Vordergrund steht die Physikalische
Therapie.
Abstract
Madelung’s syndrome is a symmetrical, painless increase in fatty tissue in the upper
part of the body, often caused by a toxic liver damage. The complex therapy must take
into consideration the liver damage as well as the swellings, which are caused by
the increase in fatty tissue. The physical therapy has priority.
