Zusammenfassung

Informationsvermittlung ist bei der Betreuung von Patienten mit Chronically Critical Illness (CCI) ein zentraler Aspekt. Im Zentrum stehen neben den betroffenen Patienten auch die Angehörigen und deren Bedürfnisse. Als enge Bezugspersonen übernehmen sie auf der Intensivstation eine zentrale Stellvertreterfunktion. Wichtig für das Betreuungsteam ist es zu wissen, wie das Informationsbedürfnis von Betroffenen und ihren Angehörigen ist und welche Aspekte bezüglich der Informationsinhalte und der Informationsübermittlung im Praxisalltag zu beachten sind – wie der folgende Beitrag aus unserer Serie über CCI-Patienten zeigt.
