Evidenzbasierte alternative nicht-invasive Methoden zur Beurteilung des Geburtsfortschritts

Die Anwendung evidenzbasierter alternativer nicht-invasiver Methoden zur Beurteilung des Geburtsfortschritts ist insbesondere bei Frauen nach sexueller Gewalt sinnvoll, da die Gefahr einer Retraumatisierung bzw. eines Flashbacks besteht. Alternative Methoden zur Reduktion vaginaler Untersuchungen fördern bei allen Geburten den physiologischen Verlauf, denn viele Regelabweichungen sind auf Interventionen zurückzuführen [1]. Und nicht zuletzt wird der Hebammenberuf gestärkt durch die Fokussierung auf eine der Kernkompetenzen in der Geburtsbetreuung – der aufmerksamen, beobachtenden Begleitung der Frau.
