Zusammenfassung

RISIKOFAKTOREN UND VERLETZUNGSPRÄVENTION Bei Sprüngen und nachfolgender Landung wirken extreme Kräfte auf das Kniegelenk ein. Kommt es aufgrund von Überlastung zu chronischen Schmerzen am unteren Pol der Kniescheibe, der Patellaspitze, wird dies als Patellaspitzen-Syndrom oder Jumpers Knee bezeichnet. Damit den Spitzensportlern nicht langfristige Trainings- und Wettkampfpausen drohen, sollten Trainer, Sportler und Sportphysios die Risikofaktoren kennen und präventiv mit dem richtigen Training die Sehne an die steigende Belastung gewöhnen.
