Stefan K. Gölder et al. Double incision and snare resection in symptomatic Zenker’s diverticulum: a modification of the stag beetle knife technique

In 16 patients with Zenker’s diverticulum of size 20 mm, a double-incision snare resection technique was used, with excellent clinical outcomes and no major complications. It would be of interest to compare the clinical efficacy of this technique with conventional endoscopic septotomy and the novel submucosal tunneling techniques.
