Abstract

2-Alkyl-1,2-oxaborolanes 4 were conveniently synthesized in moderate to good yields using a one-pot procedure involving the reaction of allyl alcohol (1) [ or triallyl borate (5)] and alkenes 2 with dimethyl sulfide/borane (3).
