Zusammenfassung
Ob systemische Anticholinergika zur Therapie der motorisch instabilen Harnblase bei
einem Glaukompatienten eingesetzt werden können, hängt von der Glaukomform des jeweiligen
Patienten ab. Keine Kontraindikationen bestehen bei Offenwinkelglaukomen und ausreichend
behandelten Engwinkelglaukomen. Risikopatienten sind diejenigen mit einer bisher nicht
bekannten Engwinkelsituation. Dieser Artikel erläutert die verschiedenen Glaukomformen,
beschreibt wie Risikopatienten identifiziert werden können und gibt Empfehlungen für
die urologische Praxis.
Abstract
Whether systemic anticholinergic drugs are contraindicated in a glaucoma patient depends
upon the glaucoma form of the individual. They may be given in open angle glaucoma
patients and sufficiently treated narrow angle glaucoma patients. Patients at risk
are those with a thus far unknown predisposition for angle closure glaucoma. This
article reviews the different glaucoma forms, describes how to identify patients at
risk and points out recommendations for the urology office.
