Summary
73 patients from a medical practice were examined by means of an in vitro NK-cell
stimulation test prior to immunomodulatory therapy. In vitro-NK-cell stimulation was
tested in 52 Patients by aspirin supplementation. Aspirin® protect augmented NK-cell
stimulation significantly (p < 0,01) and effects were stronger compared to salicin
(p < 0,01). 11 Patients showed an improvement of their basic NK-cell activity after
treatment with low-dose aspirin® protect (100 mg/d) over a 12 week period (p = 0,013).
