Fallbericht: Korrektur einer Klasse II mit Hilfe einer OK-Highpullplatte

Zusammenfassung:

Es wird die kausale Behandlung einer skelettalen Klasse II mit Labialstand der Unterkieferfront beschrieben. In der Behandlung wurde auf den Versuch der Stimulation von Unterkieferwachstum verzichtet. Mit Hilfe einer Oberkiefer-Highpullplatte wurde nur durch Entschlüsselung der Okklusion und Steuerung der Richtung des genetisch determinierten Wachstums der Distalbiss korrigiert.

Summary

The causal treatment of a skeletal class II combined with proclined lower incisors is described. There was made no attempt to stimulate mandibular growth with propulsiv appliances. Only by disarticulating the occlusion and controlling the direction of genetic determined growth by a removable acrylic highpull-plate there was established a class I.
