Postoperative Korrekturmöglichkeit nach Inkontinenzeingriffen mit dem SPARC-Band

Zusammenfassung

Bei 25 Patientinnen wurde im ersten Halbjahr 2002 eine vesikourethrale Suspensionsplastik mittels AMS SPARC-Band durchgeführt. 16 % der Patientinnen waren postoperativ klinisch inkontinent. Durch eine erneute Feinkorrektur am 3. postoperativen Tag mit Hilfe des im SPARC-Band eingewebten Nylonfadens konnte die Kontinenzrate verbessert werden. Das Risiko einer primären Überkorrektur wurde gleichzeitig minimiert.

Abstract

Between January and June 2002, a SPARC tape (American Medical Systems) was placed in 25 women with urinary stress incontinence. Four women (16 %) remained incontinent immediately after the operation. In these women tension on the sling was increased on the third postoperative day using the nylon suture woven into the sling. The continence rate was improved. This approach appears to reduce the risk of excessive tension on the sling and ensuing voiding dysfunction.
