Die Verankerung mit Miniscrews bei der Behandlung der schweren Lippenprotrusion mit Lingualtechnik

Zusammenfassung

Inzwischen liegen eine ganze Reihe von Berichten über Therapiekonzepte vor, die lingual angebrachte Multibracket-Apparaturen verwenden und mit denen sich ausgezeichnete Behandlungsergebnisse erzielen lassen. Dennoch gilt die Lingualtechnik immer noch als in der Praxis verhältnismäßig schwieriges Verfahren. Viele Probleme lassen sich allerdings durch eine exakte Positionierung der Brackets auf der Lingualseite der Zähne und durch die Verwendung von Minischrauben verringern. Außerdem ermöglichen solche Minischrauben eine wesentlich stabilere Verankerung, um nicht zu sagen, die absolute Verankerung.

Abstract

Several lingual orthodontic treatments using multi-lingual brackets have been reported to achieve excellent treatment results. Still the lingual multi-bracket system is not considered to be a simple treatment device for orthodontists. However, many difficulties may be reduced by accurate bracket positioning of lingual brackets and also by using miniscrews. Besides, miniscrews could provide a more stable anchorage, if not absolute anchorage.
