Zusammenfassung
In zwei neuen Untersuchungen wurde die antientzündliche Wirkung von Bifonazol an hautgesunden
Probanden getestet. Sowohl im Histamin-Quaddeltest als auch nach UV-Bestrahlung zeigte
sich eine mit Hydrokortison vergleichbare antiphlogistische Wirkkompetenz des antimykotischen
Wirkstoffs Bifonazol (Canesten® Extra Bifonazol). Die entzündungshemmende Wirkung
von Bifonazol wurde darüber hinaus mittels thermografischer Aufnahmen erfasst, um
exemplarisch den Entzündungsverlauf bei Patienten mit ausgeprägter Tinea pedis zu
dokumentieren.
Abstract
Two recently conducted studies evaluated the anti-inflammatory efficacy of bifonazole
in healthy volunteers. In the histamine wheal test as well as after UV radiation the
antimycotic substance bifonazole (Canesten® Extra Bifonazol) was comparably effective
as hydrocortisone. The anti-phlogistic efficacy of bifonazole was additionally recorded
using thermo-graphic prints in order to document the inflammatory process in patients
with severe tinea pedis.
