Zusammenfassung

In Großbritannien und anderswo ist die Einführung für Medizinstudenten in die homöopathische Medizin ein spezieller Teil des Lehrplans, in der Regel ein Wahlfach außerhalb des Kernprogramms. Diese Arbeit legt dar, dass die Homöopathie einen fundamentaleren, wichtigen Beitrag für das medizinische Grundstudium liefern kann und dass wir in unserem Dialog mit den Universitäten den Weg dafür bereiten sollten.

Summary

In the UK and elsewhere, any introduction which medical students receive to homeopathic medicine is likely to be in the form of a 'special study module', usually optional, ancillary to the core curriculum. This paper argues that homeopathy has a more fundamentally important contribution to make to the core curriculum of medical education, and that we should make the case for this in our dialogue with universities and medical schools.
