Zusammenfassung
Ein Katarrh, ein Hautausschlag, oder irgendeine Blutung können manchmal die Besserung
der Beschwerden einleiten, deret-wegen der Patient behandelt wird. Der Arzt kann hier
leicht einer Tšuschung unterliegen. Manchmal tritt diese Lösung erst nach Wochen ein;
wenn man dann gegen die akute Störung ein zweites Mittel gegeben hat, sollte man an
die Möglichkeit denken, daß die Besserung der Beschwerden nicht dem zweiten, sondern
dem ersten Mittel zuzuschreiben ist.
Summary
Sometimes the improvement in a chronic case cannot be seen immediately; a case is
presented where three weeks after the medication a slight cold in the head was experienced
by the patient, together with a quick improvement of the chronic Symptoms. We should
be careful in the interpretation of this kind of process: If, as is often the case
in these situations, we have given a second prescription for the catarrh, the possibility
of a retarded effect of the first presciption should not be overlooked.
