Zusammenfassung
Anlšßlich der hundertsten Wiederkehr des Erscheinens von Kents "Repertory" 1897 wurde
auf die Unterschiede in der Methode und vor allem in der Sicherheit der Mittelwahl
hingewiesen, die zwischen der Zeit vor dem Kent, wo keine Repertorisation im eigentlichen
Sinn möglich war, und nachher, als erstmals eine Materia medica, die praxisgerecht
von den Symptomen ausgehend dem Arzt die Mittel beistellte, bestehen. Das Reper-torium
führte auch zum weiteren Ausbau der Symptomenlehre und der Methodik der Mittelwahl.
Summary
On the occasion of the publication of Kent's Repertory 100 years ago there had been
investigated how were the differences between the choice of the homoeopathic remedy
before and after that event. It was shown that before Kent, the choice of remedy was
based on the materia medica alone. This led to great difficulties with the growing
quantity of the materia medica. The consequence of which was a certain uncertainty
when choosing the remedy. The publication of Kent's Repertory offered an instrument
for the direct choice of remedy giv-ing the remedies immediately with the Symptoms.
For this a special method was worked out: the repertorisation. This influenced the
whole method of case taking, Classification of the Symptoms and remedy choice too.
