Objectives: The clinical management in the gynaecologic oncology have gained large changes in the last years. International guidelines and new study results have to be implemented to the evidence based therapy decisions. Today an multimodal approach guarantees the “State of the art“ treatment in the oncology care.

Methods: The concept of the Online Tumorconference was established in 2004 as a pilot project of integrated health care. Developing a specific software we organise online meetings of gynaecologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists from different hospitals and gynaecological practitioners discussing patient’s cases, define therapy options and exchanging clinical experience.

Results: Patient data: histology, CT-scan, surgical and systemic therapy are presented as first. A special priority have the patient preference and late toxicity. In the next step guidelines of the AGO, ASCO, NCI and current study results with new scientific aspects and opened clinical trials are discussed. An individual recommendation for diagnostic and therapy for each patient is formed. All protocols, guidelines and publications are upgraded and disposed via internet for all participants. In the last 16 months 29 conferences take place, with more than 600 participants, 115 presented patient’s cases and about 110 second-opinions.

Conclusion: In an anonymous query 84% of the participants are satisfied with the information content, 76% with the technical support. About 98% of the individual recommendations were accepted and implemented. The conference represents an optimal possibility for extensive scientific discussions and exchange (92%) and advanced educational training (81%). The Online Tumorconference is already a successful new service tool which enable an uncomplicated, time-saved possibility for gynaecological oncologist to get a newest information and “state of the art“ therapy concept in the treatment of all gynaecology cancers.
