Die Periimplantitis ist eine gefürchtete Infektion des periimplantären Gewebes, die
im fortgeschrittenen Stadium den Implantaterhalt bedrohen kann. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden
Untersuchung wurden enossale Implantate hinsichtlich ihrer klinischen und mikrobiologischen
Parameter nachuntersucht. Bei Vorhandensein natürlicher Zähne werden im Vergleich
zu Patienten ohne natürliche Restbezahnung deutlich höhere Häufigkeiten paradontalpathogener
Bakterien bzw. höhere Sondierungstiefen nachgewiesen.
Periimplantitis is dreadful disease of the tissues around dental implants, which can
endanger implant survival in its progressed phase.In the scope of this study enossal
dental implants were clinically and microbiologically investigated. When teeth were
still existent significantly higher probing depths and higher levels of periodontopathogenic
bacteria could be detected.
