Abstract
83 patients with a transient ischemic attack have been investigated by computerized
tomography. 71 patients had symptoms in the region of the middle cerebral artery,
12 in the basilar region. In 14 patients a hypodense lesion in the CT was found. Two
of those patients showed multiple lesions. The lesion affected always the region of
the middle cerebral artery. Atrophy mostly of minimal degree was diagnosed in 31 patients.
Zusammenfassung
Es wurden 83 Patienten mit einer transitorisch ischämischen Attacke im Computertomogramm
untersucht. 71 Patienten wiesen Attacken im Karotisbereich, 12 im Basilarisbereich
auf. In 14 Fällen fanden sich hypodense Läsionen die zwölfmal singulär, zweimal multipel
auftraten. Dabei war immer der Bereich der A. cerebri media betroffen. Eine Atrophie
meist nur geringen Ausmaßes wurde bei 31 Patienten diagnostiziert.
