Summary

Cases of benign pulmonary neoplasms treated by endobronchial resection are rare, and such cases are generally treated using rigid bronchoscopes. This paper reports a case of endobronchial resection of a right middle bronchial fibrolipoma using a flexible fiberoptic bronchoscope. No other cases of fiberbronchoscopic resection had been reported in the literature prior to 1977, when this procedure was performed.
