Summary

A Borrmann type III antral carcinoma-like lesion, with negative multiple biopsies for cancer but with diffuse and heavy plasmocytic infiltration, revealed a polyclonal immunoglobulin pattern on immunohistochemistry. No abnormal urine or serum proteins were detected, nor any abnormalities in the bone marrow or bones. This case is, as far as we know, the third reported case of gastric plasma cell granuloma.
