Zusammenfassung

Am Beispiel einer Patientin mit einer Blasenmole wird die Wertigkeit der Kernspintomographie (MRI) in der Verlaufskontrolle demonstriert. Das MRI erlaubt, neben einer Größenschätzung, vor allem durch Darstellung von zentralen Nekrosen das Ansprechen auf die Therapie zu beurteilen. Wichtige Informationen können auch durch die Darstellung der endo-myometrialen Grenzzone sowie der subserösen Gefäße erhalten werden. Mittels einer Kombination von Etoposid, Methotrexat und Actinomycin D wurde eine komplette Remission erzielt.

Abstract

The value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was studied in a case of a gestational trophoblastic tumour. In addition to the tumour size, MRI made it possible to measure necrotic areas, which are assumed to be a sign of response to chemotherapy. Moreover, uterine zonal anatomy and subserosal uterine veins yielded important Information on tumour biology. Complete remission was induced in high-risk patients by etoposide, methotrexate, and actinomycin D treatment.
