Supplement Issue 2, Volume XI, May 1990

In the Table of Contents and the Title of the review article written by J. M. Lowenstein (page 35) the word revisited was erroneously replaced by revised. This serious mistake occurred during the final printing procedures and the correct title should read

The Purine Nucleotide Cycle Revisited

The editor of this supplement issue regrets this unfortunate mistake which misinterprets the aim of the author's contribution. J. M. Lowenstein, who discovered the PNC and its significance for muscle function 20 years ago, revisited this topic thoroughly but did not in any way revise his findings or those of other authors.
