Abstract

The steam volatile leaf oil of Eucalyptus pulverulenta contains forty-one compounds, thirty-two of which have been identified. Apart from 1,8-cineole (82.5% of oil) several trace components, δ-terpineol, cis-1(7),8-menthadien-2-ol and trans-1(7),8-menthadien-2-ol, previously not detected in Eucalyptus have been identified by means of mass spectrometry.
