Zusammenfassung
Hin neuartiger, sogenannter „2-Kompartiment-Katheter nach Holzel” wird vorgestellt:
Er erlaubt die gezielte Lebervenenblutdrainage nach extrakorporal ohne Blockage des
kavalen Blutflusses zum rechten Vorhof. Die besondere Katheterkonfiguration wird dargelegt
und erste Ergebnisse aus tierexperimentellen Versuchen berichtet. Mit 2 zusätzlichen,
handelsüblichen Kathetern wird die isolierte Leberperfusion - ohne Laparotomie - in
reiner Kathetertechnik für unterschiedliche therapeutische Ansätze möglich.
Summary
A new therapeutic catheter designated as „2-compartment-catheter by Helzel” for on-target
hepatic vein blood drainage to extracorporal space, without blocking the caval blood
flow to the right atrium, is presented. Its principle of action is outlined. First
experiences in animals are reported. Using 2 additional catheters, isolated liver
perfusion by „pure catheter technique” - without laparotomy - is now possible for
various therapeutic approaches.
