Hereditäres Retinoblastom, Esterase D, und Trophoblast: Perspektive einer pränatalen Diagnose?
Im Rahmen einer systematischen Studie des Retinoblastoms haben wir die Hypothese getestet, gemäß welcher das Gen der Esterase D sich im humanen Trophoblast ausdrückt und einen Dosage-Effekt aufweist. Dieses eröffnet die Perspektive einer pränatalen Diagnose schon beim Embryo.
Summary
Within the context of a systematic study of retinoblastoma, the authors tested the hypothesis that the esterase D gene expresses itself in the human trophoblast and shows a gene dosage effect. This opens up the perspective of prenatal diagnosis to rule out this possibility in the embryo.
