Zusammenfassung
Die symmetrische Implantation der Hinterkammerlinse in den Sulcus ciliaris scheint uns technisch einfacher
als in den Kapselsack. Da man mit Prolen als Bügelmaterial noch nicht so lange Erfahrung
hat, ziehen wir für die Sulcusfixation PMMA (Polymethylmethacrylate)-Bügel vor. Durch
verbesserte Methoden ist es gelungen, Hinterkammerlinsen samt hochflexiblen Bügeln
aus einem Stück PMMA herzustellen. Die postoperativen Resultate sind sehr befriedigend
und die Linsen bleiben praktisch immer gut zentriert.
Summary
In the author's opinion symmetrical implantation of a posterior chamber lens in the
ciliary sulcus is easier than implantation in the capsular bag. Since only little
experience has been gathered so far with Prolene loops, the author prefers loops made
of PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate). The lens is made of a single piece of PMMA, with
highly elastic loops. The postoperative results are very satisfactory and in practically
all cases the lenses stay well centered.
