Zusammenfassung
Die vorliegenden Ergebnisse beweisen eine zweiphasige Reaktion der Kammerwasserdynamik
auf Zyklokryokoagulation. Während in der ersten Phase, die 1-3 Wochen dauert, die
Reduktion der Kammerwassersekretion im Vordergrund steht, geht danach die Kammerwasserproduktion
nahezu auf präoperative Werte zurück. Die Drucksenkung in dieser zweiten Phase geht
hauptsächlich auf die Erhöhung der Abflußleichtigkeit zurück. Diese tonographische
Aussage steht in gutem Einklang mit der gonioskopisch sichtbaren Erweiterung des Kammerwinkels.
Summary
The tonographic results in the prospective study carried out by the authors showed
that there is a two-phase reaction of the aqueous dynamics after cyclocryotherapy.
In the first period, 1 to 3 weeks postoperatively, the aqueous flow decreases. Subsequently
it recovers and almost reaches preoperative values. In this stage the outflow facility
increases remarkably and is thus the main cause of the reduction in intraocular pressure.
There is a close correlation between the changes in outflow and the widening of the
chamber angle which can be seen by gonioscopy.
