Summary
Two cases of intracranial facial schwannoma growing from the labyrinthine portion
of the facial nerve are reported. The clinical, pathological and diagnostic features
and treatment of these rare lesions are discussed in the light of the most important
literature on this topic.
Zusammenfassung
Zwei Fälle eines intrakraniellen Fazialis-Schwannoms werden beschrieben, welches sich
im Labyrinthgebiet des N. facialis entwickelte. Die klinischen, pathologischen und
diagnostischen Besonderheiten und die Behandlung dieser seltenen Fälle werden anhand
der bisher veröffentlichten Literatur besprochen.
