Zusammenfassung
Die Analyse einer konsekutiven Serie von 161 konventionellen Netzhautoperationen (Cerclage,
Plombe, Kryopexie, Silberklemme) von 1979 bis 1983 zeigt, dass die Erfolgsaussichten
bei idiopathischen rhegmatogenen Amotiones etwa viermal besser sind als bei traumatischen
oder postoperativen Fällen (Aphakieamotiones). Rund 96% der idiopathischen Ablösungen
ohne Voroperation kommen zum Anliegen. Hauptmißerfolgsursache ist die massive Netz-.
hautschrumpfung (MPP). Für hochblasige, überhängende Ablösungen und Aphakieamotiones
mit Glas-körperinkarzeration empfehlen wir primär die Vitrektomie mit Luftfüllung.
Summary
The analysis of a consecutive series of 161 conventional operations performed between
1979 and 1983 for rhegmatogenous retinal detachments (encircling procedures, local
buckling, cryocoagulation, silver clip for macular hole) indicates that the success
rate in cases of idiopathic detachment is four times higher than in traumatic or postoperative
(aphakic) cases. Approximately 96% of the idiopathic detachments which had not previously
been operated on were reattached. The main cause of failure is massive periretinal
proliferation (MPP). For bullous detachments of the upper half and for aphakic detachments
with vitreous incarceration vitrectomy with air tamponade is recommended.
