Zusammenfassung
Zur Erfassung der Hornhautendothelschädigung bei der Implantation einer 2-Schlingenlinse
nach extrakapsulärer Linsenextraktion wurde der zentrale Endothelbereich bei 25 Patienten
reflexionsmikroskopisch präund postoperativ untersucht. Es fand sich ein Zellverlust
von 15%. Im weiteren postoperativen Verlauf von 15 Monaten trat ein weiterer Zellverlust
von 5% auf. Die Auswirkungen des direkten Kontaktes zwischen einer Kunstlinse und
dem Hornhautendothel wird anhand der Endothelschädigung bei einer Luxation einer 2-Schlingenlinse
in die Vorderkammer demonstriert.
Summary
The corneal endothelial damage in extracapsular extraction and insertion of a two-loop
lens (Binkhorst) using the deep chamber technique was investigated by specular microscopy.
The endothelial cell loss in 25 patients was 15%. During a mean postoperative period
of 15 months a further endothelial cell loss of 5% occurred. The effect of a direct
contact between an intraocular lens and the corneal endothelium is demonstrated by
a case of luxation of a two-loop lens into the anterior chamber.
