Zusammenfassung
Der hohe Informationswert der Fluoreszenzangiographie wird durch einen Vergleich zwischen
den Fundusphotos und den Fluoreszenzangiogrammen zu Beginn dieser Erkrankung deutlich.
Primär stehen die ausgeprägten Funktionsverluste im Vordergrund, während bei der Ophthalmoskopie
nur geringe Pigmentunregelmäßigkeiten im Makulabereich erkennbar sind. Im Fluoreszenzangiogramm
zeigt sich bereits in diesem Erkrankungsstadium das Bild des Fundus flavimaculatus.
Diese Befunde unterstützen die Auffassung, dass Stargardtsche Makuladegeneration und
Fundus flavimaculatus identisch sind.
Summary
A comparison between the fundus photographs and the fluorescein angiogram at the beginning
of this disease shows the great informative value of fluorescein angiography. At first
the distinct functional losses are most important; ophthalmoscopically, only slight
pigment irregularities are discernible. In the fluorescein angiogram the picture of
fundus flavimaculatus is already distinguishable at this stage of the disease. These
findings lend support to the view that Stargardt's macular degeneration and fundus
flavimaculatus are identical.
