Summary
Parathyroid adenomas were detected by computed tomography in three patients with hyperparathyroidism.
Bolus injection of contrast medium facilitated distinction between adenomas and vascular
growth. Subsequent surgery confirmed the location and size of the tumours. It ist
concluded that computed tomography is of value in the detection and precize localization
of parathyroid tumours.
Zusammenfassung
Bei 3 Patienten mit Nebenschilddrüsenüberfunktion stellten wir Adenome der Nebenschilddrüse
mittels Computertomographie fest. Eine Differenzierung zwischen Adenom und Gefäßgeschwulst
wurde durch Bolusinjektion eines Kontrastmediums erleichtert. Lokalisierung und Größe
der Tumoren wurden anschließend chirurgisch bestätigt. Ks wird daraus geschlossen,
daß die Computertomographie wertvolle Dienste bei der Feststellung und genauen Lokalisierung
von Nebenschilddrüsentumoren leisten kann.
