Zusammenfassung
Vorgestellt wird der seltene Fall eines Urothelkarzinoms des Nierenbeckens mit einem
Tumorzapfen in der Vena cava inferior. Der Tumor imponierte präoperativ wie ein fortgeschrittenes
Nierenzellkarzinom mit Tumorthrombus der unteren Hohlvene. Der Verlauf war foudroyant
mit atypischer Lokalisation von Metastasen und multiplen thrombotischen Verschlüssen
großer Arterien. Bisher wurden in der Literatur erst 9 Fälle eines Nierenbeckenkarzinoms
mit Tumorthrombus der Vena cava beschrieben.
Abstract
The uncommon case of a transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis with a tumor
thrombus extending into the inferior vena cava is presented. Preoperatively, the tumor
showed all attributes of an advanced renal cell carcinoma with vena caval tumor thrombus.
The disease progressed rapidly with atypically localized metastases and multiple thrombotic
occlusions of the main arteries. In the literature, 9 cases of a carcinoma of the
renal pelvis with a vena caval tumor thrombus have been reported so far.
