Zusammenfassung
Es wird über eine Patientin mit einem isolierten retroperitonealen Lymphangioleiomyom
berichtet. Das Lymphangioleiomyom ist eine seltene Erkrankung, die fast ausschließlich
Frauen im gebärfähigen Alter betrifft. Die Diagnose der in unserem Fall zystischen
Raumforderung wurde an Hand des histologischen Präparates gestellt, das die typische
Proliferation der glatten Muskulatur innerhalb des Lymphgefäßsystems aufwies. Differentialdiagnostisch
wird das zystische retroperitoneale Lymphangiom abgegrenzt. Die klinische Bedeutung
des Lymphangioleiomyoms liegt in einer möglichen pulmonalen und mediastinalen Manifestation
der Erkrankung mit zunehmender respiratorischer Insuffizienz.
Abstract
This report deals with an isolated retroperitoneal lymphangioleiomyoma in a female
patient. Lymphangioleiomyoma is a very rare disease found almost exclusively in females
of child-bearing age. In our patient the lymphangioleiomyoma resembled a cyst-like
formation. The diagnosis was based on the typical proliferation of smooth muscle within
the lymphatic system. The differential diagnosis included sectioning off the cystic
retroperitoneal lymphangioma. Clinical determination of lymphangioleiomyoma is essential
as there may be possible pulmonary and mediastinal involvement. Thus lymphangioleiomyoma
can be linked with progressive pulmonary insufficiency.
