Abstract
We report on an infant with a congenital unilateral hydronephrosis in whom an incorrect pyeloplasty resulted in a defect of the renal pelvis. A patch made out of an isolated segment of ileum was used to cover the defect. Controlling the patient over six years it could be documented, that the transplant healed in, the kidney recovered and the severe renal hypertension vanished completely.
